Do you like walking beside the sea? If you are looking for something more than a seaside promenade with a row of shops, taverns and hotels, we would like to show you some of the most beautiful and still undisturbed beaches of the south-central part of Crete.

Let’s go for a leisurely walk along the wild and secluded coast, without any infrastructure. On the way, we will pass a few beaches with sunbeds and a few taverns, but our main goal will be the world of pebbles, boulders and waves. This pristine corner of Crete abounds in unique rock formations. On the trail we will meet rocks with amazing colour and unusual shape. We will tell you about the turbulent geological history of the island.

We are not going to rush. We will enjoy sea bathing depending on the weather conditions. We will wander mainly beside the sea, with breaks for bathing and rest.

In two places the trail requires easy climb to a small cliff. From here we will admire the panorama of our entire trip.

We will feel the space of the sky around and the vastness of the Libyan Sea below.

During the trip, we will dine in one of the local taverns.
