Visit the famous Preveli palm beach – one of the most popular “tourist destinations” of Crete. Here Megalopotamos river surrounded by the palm trees, enters the sea. The view and the beach are unique so place is unique. But you do not have to “do” this beach in a traditional, touristic way. We offer you a different way to experience its beauty and uniqueness than traditional sunbathing with the crowd of other tourists. We invite you to a hike, during which you will experience the diversity of the landscape of this corner of Crete. From rural vistas winding among old olive trees, cypresses and oleanders, to narrow paths over the high cliffs of the ravine. The reward for the effort will be a downward view of the vertical walls of the ravine and the river flowing into the sea, in a wreath of palm fronds. Going down to Preveli, we will also see a secluded landscape of the wild coast, stretching far to the east of the crowded palm beach. We will tell you about the strength and uniqueness of Cretan nature. There will be an opportunity for swimming, a moment of rest and a walk along the palm path. During the return journey opposite the cliff of the ravine, we will once again admire the unforgettable views of the ravine, rocks, rivers, palms and the sea.
